Slept really good considering it was my first midnight shift last night. Whew! Good sleep on mids is difficult…so it’s really nice when it works out.

Woke up around 530 pm. Ate some cereal and ate a banana. Lisa took off to go grocery shopping so I watched the kids. I ended up giving Ava a bath while Lucianna chilled in her jumper. The baths were completed just before 7 pm.  I fed Lucianna 3 oz…and all 3 of us watched some Sprout and then turned on Dora (Ava’s favorite). Then Lisa returned. Lucianna fell asleep around 715 pm. Lisa came up and wanted me to lay down Lucianna in her bed…so I did. Then I put Ava in bed around 815 pm. While I was doing that, Lu-lu woke up.

Once Ava was down, I called my buddy James and set up a time to meet for a 6 mile run. I changed pretty quick into my running gear and jogged over to his house (about 1/4 mile away). Then we began our 6 mile run at 8:38 pm. We exercised for 1:02:47. My average heart rate was 138 bpm with a max of 153 bpm. My footpod logged 6.1 miles with an average pace of 10:19/mile and max pace of 8:48/mile.  My Polar S625X running computer logged 697 calories burned.

Enjoyed the fellowship with James as we caught up on life’s happenings. We’re hoping to do 5 miles later tonight. Should be an interesting sleep day. I plan on leaving work around 6 am this morning to get some sleep. Lisa has physical therapy at 4 pm and then a bible study at 6 pm. I’ll be with the kids until she comes home. Then I’m off to run…then back to take a nap? We’ll see how it works out. Should be some light rain around the area tonight too…however the temps will be warm (55 deg F or so).

Still a little worried about beating my last half marathon time. Hopefully my training will pay off.
