Tonight was some interval training for the upcoming 5k. Unlike the past interval training…at least I don’t feel like I injured anything. That’s great news! However, it’s only been about an hour and a half since I completed the training. I definitely feel it in my thighs.

The goal was to run 1/4 mile in 1 minute and 27 seconds, then run back to the start point and do it again. I repeated this process 7 times after I warmed up with a 10 minute mile jog. When I was finished…which I couldn’t wait to finish!!… I ran another 8 minutes or so as a cool down.

I just finished lunch and am headed into work in a few minutes. I gotta put a pot o’coffee on. Only slept about 5 good hours this morning and afternoon. I’ll be hurting tonight to stay awake. Argh!!
